"A rare gem in newgrounds"

date: September 18, 2009

Truly great story. I love zombie survival games, especially if it stimulates your imagination like this one. I got A on tactics and B on compassion, oh well, my wife above all.

One thing bothered me, though. Text was too slow, either that or the voice actor talked too fast, but no. Text is too slow, try making it faster for the sequel.

Leaving that aside, it is indeed a fantastic game. I'll look forward for the sequel.

Goliath The Soothsayer

"A man, a woman and her mother."

date: June 28, 2009

I loved this game very much, everything is quite pleasing and very scary.
I did a quick search on wikipedia about the Bedlam in Goliath, quite an intriguing story. To tell the truth, I'm not sure how those comments will affect their sales, because as silly as this may sound I'm now scared of even listening to their music.

You never fail to amuse me.

Megaman X RPG: Chapter 1

"Glitch"

date: June 28, 2009

If you select a team member to attack someone who gets killed immediatly afterwards by another of your guys, the game freezes.

Looks like you put a lot of effort into this, so I give you 5/5. But I won't play this again in a while because I just had to start from the beggining

I looked up on you as well and I felt so happy for you.
It was a nice surprise to hear that poem arranged into "Once upon a moonlit eve", Edgar Allan Poe is one of my favorite authors and you are one of my favorite composers. Couldn't get any better than that.
Miss Crayton has such a beautiful voice, she did amazing working with you.
It's so nice to hear something really worth of the classical section here in NG. I've been waiting for months to listen to something like this.

Boy, isn't Julliard doing wonders with you.

5/5, 10/10, Fav'd, instant download. Keep up the good fight.

Author's Response:

Ms Crayton has an amazing voice and I was thrilled that she premiered the piece, the singer in this recording is in fact my friend Elizabeth whose beautiful dark mezzo-soprano voice is very well suited to the range. I also thought it'd be nicer in when recording to put together a small string orchestra instead of just quartet.

Thanks for everything Fuoco, your music is sounding amazing and your support means the world!

Requiem with Guitars

"Soothing"

date: May 1, 2009

I have always liked acoustic guitars. This piece is a fine example of why I like it, so relaxing and soothing. I could sit back, close my eyes and just listen to the piece whilst deciphering your thoughts.

I really liked 1:06, it is a nice transition. Though, I must admit, I was kind of hoping the piece to suddenly rush in to something more allegro, not just faster but uplifting. Not exactly in that minute, but later, because little before the third minute I felt like I already heard the entire piece and the ending would be similar. It's very good the way it is, but you may lose the attention of the average listener if there's no appearant change within a minute or two.

The following may not be as important for a piece meant to be relaxing, but I enjoy a consistent melody. Something we can hum and whistle. It gets hard for me to remember this song as it is. I love it when I suddenly start humming a melody I can't recognize and then I remember who wrote that, that means that song really left a mark within me. It also gets easier to identify your style.

All in all, really good job. I must check out your other submissions asap.

I understand what you described and i will recognize it for further projects cause im just at the beginning ;)

"Plum!"

This is so weird... I love it.

It makes me laugh for some reason, but not in a bad way. I find this very impressive, only vocals and it's well arranged. Excellent control of your beautiful voice, it can't be easy to sing those almost imperceptible grace notes on the main melody.

So... yeah.
I don't usually review arrangements, but this one in particular sounds too unique. And funny.

Author's Response:

Heehee, it was a fun piece, so there's no wrong reason to laugh at it! =3 It's supposed to be all fun and whimsical!
I actually love grace notes. That's why I put so many of them in thar! It's the runs that I can't stand. >=(
But thank you! I'm glad you decided to listen to this particular arrangement! As I always have stated, every creation is my baby. They'll all have a piece of me, whether or not it's been made in the past. Thanks for listening!

With love,
Mandi <3
