Fuoco's News

This is a live performance of me playing Ngawang's (Winterwind-NS) song "Nocturne no9 for daziella", at my faculty's auditorium. It was the first time I ever played in front of an audience, so I screwed up badly at the end. Still, I think it went ok.

I hope you like it.

I also played "One Summer's Day" by Joe Hisaishi:

And "Song from a Secret Garden" by Rolf Lovland:

Edit:
I might as well make this my goodbye newspost.

I don't think I'll be around for a year or two, starting from june 14th. I'm starting my rounds at a hospital taking night shifts every three days. So I'll hardly have any time to sleep, let alone coming here to newgrounds.

So, it was nice while it lasted. Time to move on.

Goodbye.

I've been on that service for over two weeks now (spending my vacations on a clinical summer), and it's not as hard as I thought it would be. It's main purpose is paliative, you only stabilize the patient and let him go or send him to internal medicine.

Funny stories happen from time to time, though:

A woman came to ER a few weeks ago with her baby, the doctor wasn't around but he told me that when that happens I check the patient, and if I don't know what to do it doesn't matter because he'd be back soon.

Anyway, the woman told me her baby hasn't stopped crying since yesterday and there was no appearant reason. So I checked the baby for probable sites of infection, ears, throat, lungs, etc. Interrogated the woman a bit more... heck I turned the baby upside down and he was perfectly ok.
So I remembered a doctor once said: "Babys only cry when they're in pain or hungry", so I asked the mother:

Me: "Have you fed your baby lately?"
Mother: "Not since yesterday, because he started crying and I thought he had something in his stomach"
I asked her to breastfeed him, and as soon as she did the baby stopped crying.

...

Still, have a learned a lot in this two weeks. Not only medical information, I'm also learning to recognize fakers only wanting attention or drugs.
Weird place we live in.

NOTE: I don't agree with everything here, I just think there's some interesting points.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AJMDuPB MGTY

Have you ever wondered why are animals so simplistic that they exist without ensalaving themselves into a system and why are humans so stupid that we need to fight and compete with eachother to survive?

"In a world where 1% of the population owns 40% of the planet's wealth... in a world where 34,000 children die every single day from poverty and preventable diseases, and where 50% of the world's population lives on less than 2 dollars a day...one thing is clear: Something is fucked up dood."
-Peter Joseph

I notice that the Zeitgeist is not very popular/welcome here on newgrounds. People tend to stereotype anyone who disagrees with the system as subversive. Some of you disagrees because you believe that imagining a world without money is utopic. Those who are rich enough to get anything they want wont like the idea of getting rid of the money.

I was browsing the forums here on newgrounds about topics made about Zeitgeist, most of you were claiming that it's nothing but fallacies because no one would survive with only 2 dollars a day... if you only knew. I know some people who does here in Mexico, you can't imagine it because you want to stay in your bubble where money rules all, and that's understandable if it benefits you.

It is possible for us to survive without fighting eachother. We have an infinite resource of energy that we are not using because it is not convenient for big corporations that exports gas. This is related to MindChamber's newspost: "Who killed the electric car?"

There is no need to pay for taxes if our energy resources are infinite. Watch the video for details, please. The more I type, the more I may confuse you.

I don't agree with everything on it, though. I don't think getting rid of money would be the perfect solution, but I do agree that we should not be working for them.

I am not taking piano classes after all, but it's not bad. I've been playing for a month now and I already got two beautiful girls that wants me to teach them.

No, seriously. I guess I should thank Winterwind-NS for his song: Nocturne no.9 in D major "Daziella" since that's the song I played for them. I'll start teaching some theory first because they know nothing, so the fact that I am so unexperienced doesn't matter.

ALSO, for the people that keeps PMing me about making a new song:
I'm busy from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm at school and hospitals, so I really don't have much time for composing. BUT, I am making a song and right now I've got 3 different melodies so far (Childish, sentimental and battle themes, in that order) and it'll take me a few months to orchestrate them all. But as promised, I am making more songs than usual. I'm just letting you know, I'm not lazy.

That is all.

I will finally start piano lessons this january!

This is amazing. I'm pretty sure that having a keyboard and assisting to a music school called "Koncert" will get my composition a little bit more solid. Everyone there is very nice, they really seem to know about music.

I might as well upload performances of my own compositions. Also, it was a depressing thing to say: "I can compose music, but I play no instrument". People then gave me a weird look... but not for long!

Anyway, I am TRULY EXCITED!
Here's a pic of my new Yamaha DGX-520.
:D!

*EDIT*

Screw the piano classes! I realized that I can play and learn on my own.

At last!

So, today is my birthday. I ordered EWQL Colossus last week, it'll arrive this monday. Yay, huh?

Why would I buy a new music program if I already had some beautiful orchestral elements? Because I find in colossus so many instruments I have always wanted. Such as ethnic instruments, God I love them so much. There's also so many kinds of percussion, guitars, choirs, even synth pads (Altough, I'm not interested on those. I might as well find a good use, though). I'd post a link, but it seems that soundsonline.com removed the product temporarly. But here's the exact same program, plus 8 gigs of more.

So expect a new orchestral song, plus ethnic violins or woodwinds leading the melody. How very awesome is that?

*EDIT*
Oh damn it. The rock section sounds uber awesome, but the ethnic pitched sounds are horrible! It says it's taken right out of EW RA, but doesn't sound like it. It sounds just like many other free-ware instruments that I've downloded in the past.

I want to believe I still need to get used to it, so I can make it sound beautiful. Let's see how I progress.

Still, I'm happy with the rock section. Let's see how I combine that with orchestra (Something I have always wanted to do).

Who... I wonder who was the son of his misfucked mother who scheduled epidemiology in the medicine career? I shit on his mom for giving him birth. I mean, seriously who gives a fuck about when was the third cholera pandemic and where. Also, I've been studying nonstop stuff like the magic-religious system and what leavell-clark did.

I'm studying medicine for the love of god! I'm good exploring patients and diagnosing diseases. But this? I think my IQ dropped by 20 now that I know this. I'm embarrased to know this kind of stuff. I'll dedicate these days to carefully erase all that info from my brain, that is once I passed the test.

Dear God, if your love is infinite I hope you hatred is too. So you can unleash it upon those who thought it was a great idea that we, the students, struggle through this hell.
Now I have to go back to that braincells killer info.

I wonder if I'll end up retarded by the end of this month..
